How to connect TaHoma® to Apple HomeKit?
Easily control your Somfy equipment with TaHoma & Homekit:
- Just ask Siri and control your home by voice
- Or find your devices in the Apple Home app, and control them from all your Apple devices
1. From TaHoma app
1. Start your TaHoma solution
- Connect your TaHoma box or Connectivity kit (to the power supply or to the internet router for TaHoma boxes that require it).
- Download the TaHoma app and follow the instructions to connect your devices.
2. Link your devices to HomeKit
- Open the "..." menu in the TaHoma or TaHoma Classic app
- Click on the "Voice assistants" section
- Follow the instructions
Note: To link your equipment to HomeKit, your phone must be connected to the same network as your TaHoma box or Connectivity kit.
2. From the Apple Home app
To configure Homekit with TaHoma up this way, your Somfy gateway required 8-digit HomeKit code or the QR code (you can find it on the packaging).
Make sure your TaHoma box or Connectivity kit is connected to network and functional.
1. Open your Apple Home APP and add your Somfy box or Connectivity kit
- If you have a TaHoma switch box or a Connectivity kit that is not yet connected to the router, make sure that the LED on the box is flashing blue.
- Click on "add accessory" and follow the instructions.
